CENSUS of the inhabitants on CULMAILY, GOLSPIE 1810
Taken from Sutherland Estate Management Papers
Place names as in original document. My list shows Name, followed by place of abode, age and families.
This is a fascinating list regarding numbers in families, age of parents, a 23 year old father of five children,
the high number of widows with young families and a widow who is mother of 21!
Much of this area would later be ‘cleared’.
